The Lake District Mountains |
06/06/2006 - White Side, Lower Man, Helvellyn, Catstycam and Birkhouse Moor. I started from Glenridding car park and set off along Greenside Road, following the path up Glenridding Beck towards the old abandoned damn. It was a beautiful sunny day and a pleasure to be out in the hills. The walk took in White Side, Lower Man, Helvellyn, Catstycam (via Swirral Edge) and Birkhouse Moor. It was an outstanding day's walk.
