When we planned this trip the previous week the weather forecast had been fairly positive but then unfortunately deteriorated. In the event we had to put up with quite a lot of cloud and long distance views were far from good. Nevertheless we had a reasonably decent walk and apart from a brief spasm of rain on Ling Fell the day kept dry. |
