14 09 2005 - Red Screes and Middle Dodd

I started from the car park opposite the Kirkstone Pass Inn and climbed up to the summit of Red Screes before taking in Middle Dodd. This was my first time on Red Screes since December 1983 - almost long enough for geological changes to have taken place. It was a fine but cloudy day with a little sunshine breaking through from time to time. At least the clouds kept high and free of the tops. And of course I ended up in the Kirkstone Pass Inn at the end of the walk.
