    09 06 2005  - Wetherlam

I started from Coniston village and set off up the Coppermines valley towards the Youth Hostel. It was a fine day but not as warm as I had anticipated. There were also far more clouds than I expected but they kept quite high throughout the walk. A little more sun and clearer views would have been nice. I finished the day with another visit to the Royal Oak in Ambleside for a pint of Theakston's.
