30 03 04 - Latest walk and photos - Stybarrow Dodd and Raise.

Walk first completed 02 08 90 with Richard. The photograph here is at Raise's summit in the sun with Helvellyn behind. Catstycam can be seen just to the right of the cairn. This was part of a superb walk that also took in Stybarrow Dodd (for Richard) and Helvellyn. It was a beautiful summer's day with temperatures reaching 30°C on top of Helvellyn. After descending from Sticks pass towards Stannah we cooled off in a pool beneath a small waterfall.
