Walk first completed sometime in the mid 80's with Paul Wright and George and on other occasions. Wasdale, as anyone who knows it will recognise, is  a wonderful place. The fact that it is a cul de sac as far as roads are concerned makes it less accessible and therefore  less frequented by the casual tourist than most other Lakeland valleys. It always seems a little isolated and solitary to me, as if it nestles in its own secret corner of the Lakes.
