| Walk first completed 16 08 00 with Richard. It was a warm but cloudy day as we began the walk from Wanthwaite. We approached Clough Head via the north eastern ridge over White Pike accompanied by one or two unwelcome cloudbursts. We then went on to Great Dodd (via Calfhow Pike), Watson's Dodd and Stybarrow Dodd before dropping down to Sticks Pass and Stanah on our way back to Wanthwaite. It was thoroughly enjoyable apart from the long trudge back from Stanah to Wanthwaite. |
