18 02 04 Latest walk and photos - taking in The Knott, High Street, Thornthwaite Crag and Caudale Moor. |

Walk first completed 09 07 86 with George and Dave. We parked near the Queen's Head pub on the A592 and started with the steady climb up the grassy slopes of Yoke. We took in Ill Bell, Froswick and Thornthwaite Crag before crossing to Caudale Moor. From the summit we descended via Pike How to the Kirkstone Pass Inn. After a quick pint it was a bit of a trudge back down the A592 to the car. |

June '87 - The walk was repeated with Richard and started from Hartsop. We climbed up past Hayeswater reservoir to The Knott and made the long haul up to the summit of High Street. From here we followed the path round to the beacon on Thornthwaite Crag and then on to Caudale Moor. We crossed the moor to the top of Hartsop Dodd (see photo) before descending to the car park. |
