15 09 06 - taking in Whiteless Pike, Thirdgill Man Head Wandope and Grasmoor with Paul Drury. |
| We started the walk from the car park behind the Fish Inn at Buttermere. There had been lots of rain earlier in the week so we were a little mistrustful of the weather forecast which promised sunny periods. In the event it was a beautiful sunny day from start to finish. The walk was superb and the views excellent. The Haystacks bitter at the Fish Hotel where we rested our weary legs at the end the walk was also first class. |
