| 11 07 07 - A short walk to Walna Scar Fell |
|
After 3 nights with Paul Drury in his new caravan at Park Coppice on Coniston Water I found myself with a bit of time to spare before setting off home. I decided to set off for the summit of Walna Scar Fell. This fell has always appeared somewhat insignificant to me and has never presented itself as something I wanted or needed to do. However, since it is over 2000ft it had to be done sooner or later. The weather was reasonably good with some sunshine on the way up but it was cloudy, windy and cold at the summit. The sun came out again as I descended. |
