| 11 02 08 - Rosthwaite Fell and Glaramara |
|
The weather was again excellent with little wind and virtually no clouds. I parked near Strands Bridge and took the footpath that starts just along the B5289 and heads up to Tarn at Leaves. The sun was a bit in my face as I gained height towards my first objective which was Bessyboot. I crossed from Bessyboot to Rosthwaite Cam and managed to scramble to its summit before exploring the tops of Dovedale Crag. I continued on to Glaramara before heading back down over Thornythwaite Fell. |
