| 09 06 05 - Wetherlam. |
| I started from Coniston and set off up the valley towards the Youth Hostel. It was a fine day but not as warm as I had anticipated. There were also far more clouds than I expected but they kept quite high all day. A little more sun and clearer views would have been nice. I finished the day with a pint of Theakston's at the Royal Oak in Ambleside, a pub that doesn't seem to have changed since I first drank there more than 20 years ago. |
